Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2010 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi, which included the work Four works: Ahmed Zaki, Suad Hosni, Shadia and Zaki Rustom by Chant Avedissian. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 45,000.00 (€ 33,829.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chant Avedissian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Icons Of The Nile in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,188,487.24).
