Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing Nudes; & Two Seated Nudes by Chang Wan-Chuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,350.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chang Wan-Chuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2003 the work The Feast was auctioned for HKD 215,100.00 (€ 22,401.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Standing Nudes; & Two Seated Nudes von Chang Wan-Chuan kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.350,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chang Wan-Chuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2003 die Arbeit The Feast für HKD 215.100,00 (€ 22.401,15) versteigert.
