Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life/Landscape (Double Sided) by Chang Shuhong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. The price achieved of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,705.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chang Shuhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artist'S Family After The Bombing In Chungking in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 9,400,000.00 (€ 967,757.38).
