In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Sitting On The Ground by Chang Shuhong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,124.01), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chang Shuhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artist'S Family After The Bombing In Chungking in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 9,400,000.00 (€ 967,757.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sitting On The Ground von Chang Shuhong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 8.124,01) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chang Shuhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artist'S Family After The Bombing In Chungking im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.400.000,00 (€ 967.757,38).
