Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Heavenly Home(Painted In 1985) by Chang Shuhong. The price achieved of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 53,556.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chang Shuhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artist'S Family After The Bombing In Chungking in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 9,400,000.00 (€ 967,757.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Heavenly Home(Painted In 1985) von Chang Shuhong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 53.556,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chang Shuhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artist'S Family After The Bombing In Chungking im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.400.000,00 (€ 967.757,38).
