Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Saint George by Cesare Dandini was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,818.30) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dandini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Michael The Archangel in January 2009 with an auction result of USD 542,500.00 (€ 423,695.72).

Die Arbeit Saint George von Cesare Dandini wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.818,30) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cesare Dandini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint Michael The Archangel im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 542.500,00 (€ 423.695,72).
