A top price for Cesare Dandini - as previously expected
The work Saint Michael The Archangel by Cesare Dandini was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2009. The price achieved of USD 542,500.00 (€ 423,695.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Saint Michael The Archangel is the most expensive artwork by Cesare Dandini that we have observed at auctions so far.
