Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Half-Length Study Of A Man, His Arms Outstretched by Cesare Dandini was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,579.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cesare Dandini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint Michael The Archangel in January 2009 with an auction result of USD 542,500.00 (€ 423,695.72).
