Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait by César Piette was auctioned at Phillips in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 6,350.00 (€ 7,314.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by César Piette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dog with yellow collar in March this year with an auction result of HKD 444,500.00 (€ 52,046.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self Portrait von César Piette kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.350,00 (€ 7.314,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César Piette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dog with yellow collar im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.500,00 (€ 52.046,40).
