Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work Welcome refreshment by César Pattein. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,046.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by César Pattein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Les Blés in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 43,530.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Welcome refreshment von César Pattein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 6.046,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César Pattein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Les Blés im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 43.530,06).
