In June 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Battle Of The Flowers by César Pattein. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,525.02), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by César Pattein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Les Blés in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 43,530.06).

Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Battle Of The Flowers von César Pattein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.525,02) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César Pattein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Les Blés im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 43.530,06).
