Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Playing By The River by César Pattein for USD 4,063.00 (€ 3,598.76). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Pattein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Les Blés in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 43,530.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Playing By The River von César Pattein für USD 4.063,00 (€ 3.598,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Pattein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Les Blés im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 43.530,06).
