This artwork by César Pattein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2009. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work The flower pickers sold for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 18,871.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by César Pattein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Les Blés, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 59,375.00 (€ 43,530.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von César Pattein erzielte im März 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit The flower pickers für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 18.871,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von César Pattein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Les Blés beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 59.375,00 (€ 43.530,06) versteigert wurde.
