Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Jeune Marchande De Fleurs by César Pattein was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 13,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by César Pattein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Les Blés, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 59,375.00 (€ 43,530.06).

Die Arbeit La Jeune Marchande De Fleurs von César Pattein wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von César Pattein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Les Blés beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für USD 59.375,00 (€ 43.530,06) versteigert wurde.
