Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by César Domela for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction TwentiethCentury Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Domela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Composition Néoplastique in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 531,199.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von César Domela für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion TwentiethCentury Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Domela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Composition Néoplastique im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 531.199,15).
