The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,643.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Cesar Buenaventura have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2017 the work Rice Terraces was auctioned for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,603.71).
