Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I Love Plastic(Painted In 2017) by Ceet Fouad was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 45,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,347.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ceet Fouad have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sky Blue with Chicanos in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 228,000.00 (€ 24,410.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit I Love Plastic(Painted In 2017) von Ceet Fouad kam im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 29.500,00 (€ 3.347,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ceet Fouad auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sky Blue with Chicanos im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 228.000,00 (€ 24.410,97).
