Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Playa by Cecilio Plá was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,980.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cecilio Plá - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish En La Playa (On The Beach), which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,435.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Playa von Cecilio Plá wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.980,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cecilio Plá mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish En La Playa (On The Beach) beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.435,48) versteigert wurde.
