The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,468.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cecil de Blaquiere Howard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Heavyweight Boxer', which sold at auction in May 2003 for USD 31,070.00 (€ 26,406.60).
