Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Tugboats in a Harbor (a group of three) by Cecil Crosley Bell for USD 892.50 (€ 841.82). This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Crosley Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ice Skaters, Central Park in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,019.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tugboats in a Harbor (a group of three) von Cecil Crosley Bell für USD 892,50 (€ 841,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Crosley Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ice Skaters, Central Park im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.019,59).
