Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Madonna And Child by Cecco di Pietro. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 57,133.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Cecco di Pietro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2012 the work The Baptism Of Christ was auctioned for GBP 61,250.00 (€ 78,016.04).
