Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Pistoia Cars and Carrouselle 2007 by Carsten Höller. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,500.00 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carsten Höller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hippopotamus in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 198,000.00 (€ 130,374.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pistoia Cars and Carrouselle 2007 von Carsten Höller zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.500,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carsten Höller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hippopotamus im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 198.000,00 (€ 130.374,66).
