Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Carol Rama was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October last year. It achieved a price of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,009.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carol Rama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 236,750.00 (€ 277,447.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Carol Rama wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.009,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carol Rama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arcadia (Ti Amo… Ti Amo) im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 236.750,00 (€ 277.447,63).
