Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lo Sgambetto by Carmelo Cappello was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in December 2016. The price achieved of EUR 7,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carmelo Cappello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'uomo nello spazio in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lo Sgambetto von Carmelo Cappello wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
