Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carmelo Cappello achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2016. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Continuità circolare sold for EUR 4,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Carmelo Cappello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'uomo nello spazio in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carmelo Cappello erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Continuità circolare für EUR 4.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
