Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin título (de la serie Horizontes) by Carlos Rojas was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,161.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Carlos Rojas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work without title was auctioned for USD 47,500.00 (€ 34,911.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sin título (de la serie Horizontes) von Carlos Rojas kam im Mai 2014 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.161,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Carlos Rojas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 47.500,00 (€ 34.911,07) versteigert.
