Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso, which included the work La Plage Belge by Carlos Nadal. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,152.49), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Carlos Nadal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Molino in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,199.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Plage Belge von Carlos Nadal zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.152,49) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Nadal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Molino im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.199,27).
