Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (from the series 'La ciudad vista desde la mesa casa') by Carlos Garaicoa was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,674.97). Admittedly, works by Carlos Garaicoa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (from the series New Architectures) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 41,357.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from the series 'La ciudad vista desde la mesa casa') von Carlos Garaicoa kam im Mai 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.674,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Garaicoa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (from the series New Architectures) im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 41.357,25).
