Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mi última palabra/My Last Word by Carlos Garaicoa was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,120.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlos Garaicoa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (from the series New Architectures) in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 41,357.25).

Die Arbeit Mi última palabra/My Last Word von Carlos Garaicoa kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.120,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
