Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Skeleton Images (Compositions 3, 5, 13) by Carlos Amorales was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,736.99). Admittedly, works by Carlos Amorales have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Horny Ghost in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,724.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Skeleton Images (Compositions 3, 5, 13) von Carlos Amorales wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.736,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Amorales auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Horny Ghost im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.724,81).
