Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Global Contemporary, Rijksakademie, which included the work Mexican scared Wolf Painting by Carlos Amorales. The price achieved of EUR 16,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Amorales - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Horny Ghost, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,724.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Global Contemporary, Rijksakademie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mexican scared Wolf Painting von Carlos Amorales zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 16.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlos Amorales mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Horny Ghost beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.724,81) versteigert wurde.
