Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A seated man recoiling by Carlo Saraceni was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 209,141.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Saraceni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Adoration Of The Shepherds, which sold at auction in January 2015 for USD 533,000.00 (€ 472,099.20).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 209.141,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden.
