Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Young Man. Bust Length, Facing Left, With A White Lace Collar by Carlo Portelli for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,454.12). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Portelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 108,250.00 (€ 175,038.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Man. Bust Length, Facing Left, With A White Lace Collar von Carlo Portelli für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.454,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Portelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Holy Family with the Infant Saint John the Baptist im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.250,00 (€ 175.038,82).
