Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlo Pizzi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in June 2007. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Veduta Del Lago Maggiore sold for EUR 10,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Pizzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lake Garda; Lake Como, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,350.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Pizzi erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Veduta Del Lago Maggiore für EUR 10.560,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Pizzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lake Garda; Lake Como beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für GBP 14.100,00 (€ 22.350,24) versteigert wurde.
