Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlo Pizzi could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti E Sculture Del XIX E XX Secolo auction, the work Veduta della Valsassina changed hands for EUR 3,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,500.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Pizzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lake Garda; Lake Como in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,350.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Pizzi konnte im Mai 2019 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti E Sculture Del XIX E XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Veduta della Valsassina für EUR 3.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Pizzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lake Garda; Lake Como im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.100,00 (€ 22.350,24).
