Cardinal A. Scola's Collection auction at Il Ponte in March 2013. It achieved a price of EUR 6,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Pizzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lake Garda; Lake Como, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,350.24).

Die Arbeit The Shore of Lecco von Carlo Pizzi wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Antique and XIX Century Furnishings | Antique Paintings | A Collection of Gouaches from Naples | Objects from H.E. Cardinal A. Scola's Collection bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Pizzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lake Garda; Lake Como beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für GBP 14.100,00 (€ 22.350,24) versteigert wurde.
