Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlo Levi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2000. In the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction, the work Maternità sold for ITL 1,880,000.00 (€ 1,729.93) - well above the upper estimate of ITL 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Levi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alassio - Spiaggia in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Levi erzielte im November 2000 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA wurde die Arbeit Maternità für ITL 1.880.000,00 (€ 1.729,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von ITL 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Levi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
