Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Marina by Carlo Levi for EUR 4,340.00. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Carlo Levi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alassio - Spiaggia in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Marina von Carlo Levi für EUR 4.340,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Levi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
