Admittedly, works by Carlo Levi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alassio - Spiaggia in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.

Die Arbeit Barca In Mare In Tempesta von Carlo Levi wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.340,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Levi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alassio - Spiaggia im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
