Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlo Brancaccio could be acquired at Christies in Rome in June 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Scalinata A Napoli changed hands for EUR 1,470.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Brancaccio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mount Vesuvius from Procida in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,600.00 (€ 54,312.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Brancaccio konnte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Rom für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO wechselte die Arbeit Scalinata A Napoli für EUR 1.470,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Brancaccio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mount Vesuvius from Procida im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.600,00 (€ 54.312,56).
