Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Wilhelm Friedrich Bauerle could be acquired at Bonhams in London in July 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and European Art auction, the work Portrait of a young girl thought to be Princess Caroline Murat changed hands for GBP 510.00 (€ 598.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Wilhelm Friedrich Bauerle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mummy, See! in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,367.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Wilhelm Friedrich Bauerle konnte im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and European Art wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of a young girl thought to be Princess Caroline Murat für GBP 510,00 (€ 598,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Wilhelm Friedrich Bauerle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mummy, See! im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.367,08).
