In December 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work View of the Mediterranean Sea by Carl Johansson. The result of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,493.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Johansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring landscape in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 78,000.00 (€ 8,903.38).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of the Mediterranean Sea von Carl Johansson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.493,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Johansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring landscape im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 78.000,00 (€ 8.903,38).
