Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Spring landscape with boy fishing by Carl Johansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 717.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Johansson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring landscape in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 78,000.00 (€ 8,903.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Spring landscape with boy fishing von Carl Johansson im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 717,14) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Johansson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring landscape im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 78.000,00 (€ 8.903,38).
