Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring landscape from Tuna by Carl Johansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,086.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Johansson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring landscape, which sold at auction in June 2012 for SEK 78,000.00 (€ 8,903.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spring landscape from Tuna von Carl Johansson kam im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.086,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Johansson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring landscape beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für SEK 78.000,00 (€ 8.903,38) versteigert wurde.
