However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Hoyrup - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the dunes, which sold at auction in September 2001 for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,422.84).

Die Arbeit Flying swans von Carl Hoyrup wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Hoyrup mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the dunes beobachtet, die im September 2001 für GBP 881,25 (€ 1.422,84) versteigert wurde.
