A top price for Carl Hoyrup - as previously expected
The work On the dunes by Carl Hoyrup was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in September 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 881.25 (€ 1,422.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, On the dunes is the most expensive artwork by Carl Hoyrup that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit On the dunes von Carl Hoyrup wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert.
