Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carl Hoyrup could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings auction, the work A Pointer On Alert changed hands for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,336.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Carl Hoyrup have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2001 by the work On the dunes at GBP 881.25 (€ 1,422.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Hoyrup konnte im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings wechselte die Arbeit A Pointer On Alert für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.336,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Carl Hoyrup wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2001 die Arbeit On the dunes mit GBP 881,25 (€ 1.422,84).
