Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carel Lodewijk Dake could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction, the work Junks before the coast changed hands for EUR 1,125.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Carel Lodewijk Dake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A moonlit temple in September 2012 with an auction result of EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carel Lodewijk Dake konnte im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations wechselte die Arbeit Junks before the coast für EUR 1.125,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carel Lodewijk Dake auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A moonlit temple im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.750,00.
