The work The Royal Yacht Squadron'S Cutters Alarm And Esmeralda Off The Eddystone Lighthouse by Haughton Forrest was sold in the Maritime Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,252.31), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Haughton Forrest have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Top Sail Schooner And Sailing Yacht in March 2005 with an auction result of AUD 65,725.00 (€ 40,238.76).

Die Arbeit The Royal Yacht Squadron'S Cutters Alarm And Esmeralda Off The Eddystone Lighthouse von Haughton Forrest wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Maritime Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.500,00 (€ 5.252,31) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
