Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Identity Exchange - Peking Opera; Professor (2 Works) by Cang Xin. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,642.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cang Xin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harmony of Nature and Human Series in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,295.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Identity Exchange - Peking Opera; Professor (2 Works) von Cang Xin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.642,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cang Xin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harmony of Nature and Human Series im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.295,74).
